I'm not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow, but at least I have a short week with it being Thanksgiving week here in the US. Also congrats to you and your wife @Aeowulf! I hope everything goes smooth for both her and the baby! Is she having a boy or a girl?

Hey everyone! I had a bit of a rough day today, Mondays can be rough but most of the time they're smooth. However, today wasn't the case. My phone updated yesterday to iOS 14.2, but my battery drained way too fast today. It was fully charged when I unplugged it this morning, but sometime around 9 AM is when it was losing it's charge fast. I rarely use my phone at work, so typically by the end of the day it might be at around 80%. (I do use it on lunch and breaks to play Pokemon Go...) However today it was at 15% by the end of the day. :\ I had to turn power saving mode on. I'm not sure what caused it to drain so fast, the only app that used most of the battery was Reddit but I only used it for half an hour before I went to work. I also got some new masks and the banding that goes around your nose kept making my safety goggles slide off my face at work today too... I hope tomorrow will be a better day. :V I hope you all had a good Monday!

That's not good. I hope the rest of your week is better and the issue with your iPhone is sorted out soon! Could it be because you just updated it? I know its not the same but my Android sometimes has bad battery life for a little while after a major update.

Hey everyone! I figured out what was draining my battery, turns out for some reason Reddit was the culprit! I turned off notifications for Reddit and lo and behold my battery is fine now. :V I'm sure iOS 14.2 had something to do with it, since other people said that their batteries were draining fast after updating. I can live without having Reddit notifications. Most of the time it's just suggestions for new sub Reddits anyways. xD

That was usually the culprit most of the time for my phone too. Not reddit in particular; but, it was apps running and draining the battery in the background.
