I saw this posted on a work communications page and thought it was interesting and wanted to share it with you guys and gals :).

I don't even have a job to able to worry about this. But working from home is cool but in the meantime, it's not. LOL wake up at 9am and work, not even time to wash your nuts and eat those nuts

This reminds me, since not everyone's home environment is good for working at home (kids if a parent, crappy internet connection, no place to have a office separate from the actual house, etc.), my family and I have thought that working from home would be great and all, if the work from home meant having an actual office to get away from the distractions; whether the office is a room separated from the rest of the house chaos, or an actual rented office space.

My mother actually had a working plan with a few of her co-workers who lived near us at the time, that if a good office space could be rented, good internet access, and funds set aside for the actual equipment was met, then she and her co-workers would not have to commute the distance to work (taking into consideration weather and construction).

If you don't me adding to your post @Hungry Ego, The Simpsons is one of my most loved TV shows and this episode sums up working from home. Losing weight after a lockdown certainly isn't an easy task to undergo. This particular episode shows how many distractions there are, when your fulfilling your duties from home.

The Simpsons are awesome and can be added to ANY thread possible, IMO @Alexander

I worked from home last three months. It was hard period in some aspects but it has also advantages.
Here are some my experience about it.
Bad aspects:
- it was hard just work without eating meanwhile
- keep concentration on work and not browsing other pages
- cutomers calls us or send us messages in any part of day
- when bars open, I wanted go out but I could not since I had to stay at home and work
- no female collegues in short skirts
- I sited much more than usuall so my back start get pain and I had to buy better chair

Good aspects:
- I didn't drive my car so less chance for accident or any other damages or broke
- since all comunicatio when trough email or other VoiP services, customers could not accuse us for providing bad informations
- rude customers could not insult in live - they communicate much different in messages
- not spending time on driving
- not sharing bathrooms or other stuff with other colleagues (some need education how to use bathroom or take shower before go to work)

Well, our company usually permits work from home and we used to love it.

Now though, it's hard. My manager feels that we have more time on our hands and he wants us to learn new technologies. In the meanwhile, the workload usually increases as people believe you have more time and all.

My family members believe I have been working too hard and they just want me to quit the company! It's hard to convince that it's absolutely normal to work more than 10 hours a day, in my country. I have been working from home for more than 3 months now and I will have to say, it's hard to work this way, without your family support
