Do you remember what your first Nintendo console was? What were some of your favorite games? And do you like that specific console over the others?

The NES ❤️

We didn't really have that many games for it since it was our Dad who bought it us, and we only saw him at the weekends..

Can't really beat Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros 3.. Both awesome, awesome games that still hold up today.

Super Nintendo. My dad got it for me as a kid and to this day I still love playing super Nintendo. I don't remember what my first game was however.

My first Nintendo console was the N64 with Goldeneye 007. What a game.

I did have SEGA consoles before Nintendo though!

Sega does what Nintendon’t, drop out of the console market.
Poor management, lackluster game sales and lack of third party support will do that to you :)

As much as I loved the Saturn and the Dreamcast, they were horribly mismanaged.

Yeah, those consoles had amazing games, but Sega of Japan, and Sega of America couldn’t see eye to eye. That and they kept releasing new hardware and abandoned it a couple years later

Yep, spot on. The Saturn got some incredible games, but most of them only came out in Japan, those that did release in the US weren't big sellers and now they're super expensive if you ever do find them. I got lucky in that I kept most of mine in-tact and even have some of those super-rare titles now. The Dreamcast was the same, it had absolutely amazing first party titles, but again, most of the great stuff was limited to Japan. Such a shame.

Yeah the PAL Saturn games were so poor compared to the japanese releases. :(

If only we'd gotten games like Super Tempo and Radiant Silvergun...such good releases that never saw the light of day outside of Japan

Yeah, I have a lot of import titles, or I play fan translations on my Saturn.

Thiiiiiis. Always wanted to play Super Tempo, I've played both the 32x and Game Gear releases and thought they were great fun. :D

Super Tempo is number one on my list, if I get the chance, I'm getting it!
