Tough one because I usually consider French Toast as only a savoury thing, whereas with pancakes and waffles, you can have it as a savoury or sweet meal. But if I had to choose, I would go for waffles.

I love all three of them, but if I had to put them in ranking order, it would be:
1.) Pancakes
2.) French Toast
3.) Waffles
A side of link sausage and bacon would go great with them, thank you.

French toast with peanut butter, syrup and powdered sugar sprinkled on it in that order.

I love french toast and pancakes equally, not such a fan of waffles really.

A bit off the topic, does anyone know why it is called French toast?
When I was a kid we always called it gypsy toast at home, and I never heard French toast until much later, and in France they call it pain perdu which translates as 'lost bread'.

I love them both and have them both for breakfast sometimes. What about you?

Personally, I'm fond of mine with : any fruity flavours, maple syrup, butter, vanilla ice cream and honey on mine. How about you?

Maple syrup, butter, whipped cream and fresh strawberries for me personally. And you personally?

Slightly off topic maybe, but a few people mentioned strawberries, and I think that they are the most overrated berries out there.

Blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, are all much better than strawberries most of the time.

I eat far more french toast from the list than anything else as that's more of a good option when it comes to eating something small to fell in a gap on a nice rainy afternoon tea time. Not sweet to have.

Been years since I last had pancakes and waffles.
