I've picked up a few consoles second-hand from the likes of eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and Shpock.. No issues so far!
PlayStation (original) - I still had my original PSone (slim), but wanted to dabble with the PSIO which isn't compatible with the newer model. The condition wasn't too shabby...

I generally prefer playing solo.. Those that have the time to play more often, and have the finances for the best equipment will tend to dominate online play. AI difficulty has come on leaps and bounds in recent generations of gaming.

I'd probably spend most of the day buying huge catalogues of games, movies, and music. That way I'd have access to them far beyond just the single day.

I've played the opening hour or two a few times of the original PS2 game that came out on the PS3. It didn't really make enough of an impression for me to carry on playing though ?
