Definitely! It was a coincidence that I started out doing phpBB themes (helped out a friend that has a phpBB forum), and I'm really keen on learning MyBB theming. XenForo is of course also on my list, but the standards of the XF theme developers are really high, so I'd like a bit more practice...

I try to limit my online shopping since I prefer to support local businesses that are not a part of a store chain. So what I order online is mostly limited to the online stores of different local businesses.

Free hosting is god-given if you're new to the whole webmaster game and need an arena to play around at without having to invest. But if you're serious about a project there are just too many limitations to free hosts.
