Back in the 70s there was the big hype of how we were entering the next ice age and everyone panicked. Then in the 80s it turned to global warming. Now it's climate change. The politicians and media are always trying to put the fear in us that our planet is going to go kaput and we need to stop it.

You know it! And being taxed...if we get taxed enough, we can save the planet from impending doom.

I believe we are, I just think the time tables (when this happens, when that happens) that they present are malarkey.

I believe we're destroying our environment. I'm not so convinced that "climate change" is entirely our doing since the other planets in our solar system are also going through climate changes.

My biggest complaint is that we need to stop relying so much on plastic. Because it's being dumped into our oceans and rivers and that's very concerning.

Plastic was introduced to "save the trees". If you look at tv shows from the 70s, you won't see as much plastic around the homes because they used mainly paper and glass. Then the experts told us that we were ruining the planet and would run out of trees so we all needed to switch to plastic and save the planet.
