Our parents seem to be the first point of our interaction in life. We see them daily and observe how they behave. Could you be able to state any lessons you got to learn from my parents?

Hard work always pays off, it's more important than talent, and fight for your dreams no matter what your surroundings might say.

Measure twice cut once! That's my dad speaking LOL

From my mom, I learned sacrifice. We grew up poor and I remember looking in her sock drawer and seeing 6 pairs of socks...she was wearing the 7th pair that she owned. I was so sad because she always made sure that my sister and I always had clean socks with no holes in them.

I learnt from my mother to never be in a rush to reply anyone especially in a heated conversation. You're going to be at your worst when you're angry and upset. This would make you end up saying things that you'd end up apologising for.

That's sage advice! Sometimes I need to do that on Christianity Haven instead of rushing off a response. It helps to cool the jets and not say the wrong thing.

The one thing I learned from my father is DO NOT TAKE SHORTCUTS, they do not pay off.
