Where I am located in the southern Appalachian mountains USA - is a major hub for racing as The Bristol 500 is played in Bristol, Tennessee. Anyway, despite my love of racing video games, I haven't gotten into watching it. It just doesn't look too interesting to watch, but fun to play, maybe like baseball.

O.K., are you into racing? Who are your favorite drivers? What races have you seen live? Have you seen any notable ones on TV?

I've been watching F1 since 1996, but I've only actually been to a race weekend once (British GP - Silverstone - 2007). It's had its peaks and troughs as far as entertainment is concerned.. As soon as one team and/or driver dominate, it goes through a bit of a rough patch.

In terms of my favourite teams/drivers.. Alonso has always been entertaining to watch, and despite their controversies over the last couple of decades I like to see McLaren do well.

I've been to the Le Mans 24hr event as part of the WEC twice (2019, 2021). There's often a few ex-F1 drivers participating, and it's a really good atmosphere. That championship doesn't seem to get the same amount of advertising and TV coverage in the UK though..

People race in town where I live all of the time. They don't need a race track. Why do that when they have the cops to play with?

I love cars and I love racing. The only racing event I watch is F1 though and that's something I only got into recently. As someone from the UK, it's probably easy to guess who my favourite driver is, all you have to do is to look at my signature :p

I give the kid props for knowing he was busted and pulling over to await his punishment.

Off topic (kind of): Anybody know the intro song of this video?
