Cat owners,

I like cats and don't have any cats...at all. My daughter and girlfriend like cats. My son doesn't care for pets because of his allergies and asthma.

I even have cats and dogs in my games (Sims 4). hehe

I try not to get too mad when my cats knock shit down. hehehehehe

The most annoying thing about owning a cat.. Owning a cat ?

My ex was desperate to have cats as soon as we had our own property, but I never particularly "got it". To me they were just an additional expense that give you little in return. It's often been suggested that cats wouldn't blink twice at losing their owner(s), and simply move on to the next person that gave them attention!

Needless to say, when we separated she was welcome to keep them.

A quick story about one of our cats. I had to do community service many moons ago (don't ask hehe). One of my duties, along with the other guys, was to clean the cages at the pound. One time, we found a kitten in one of the smaller cages. I didn't think much of it, and walked away. Suddenly, the kitten somehow got out of the cage and walked right up to my feet, and looked up at me. I picked him up and petted him. We had to go, but every time we came back (for about 2 weeks), he was there, and I'd pet him and feed him.

After my service was completed, I came back to the pound at night, and sure enough he was there. I called him and he ran along the fence (it was tall and I couldn't climb over) until he found a small opening, ran thru it, then jumped right into my car. This was about 8 to 9 years ago. He is our familiar. :)
