I love corn on the cob.Come summer the beaches of Mumbai will be loaded with hawkers selling corn on cob. The corn will be roasted on live coals and then get a rub of lime, salt and chilli powder. A delicious snack enjoying with the sound of waves as company

Do you roast it or boil it?I love corn on the cob.
You might call it street corn as it is sold by hawkers along the beachIs that called Street Corn then?
Ours is really good around July where I live and that's when it's cheapest too. We just simmer it for 10 minutes then add butter.
The joy of attacking it directly using your teeth needs to be experienced Try it.I mostly just take a knife and cut my corn off of the cob. I prefer to eat it with a fork or a spoon.
