I haven't had as much time to sit down and read but nowadays I've been listening to audiobooks as I exercise and go for walks. Do you like to listen to audiobooks?
I would if I had the time. If I had a longer commute to work, I probably would listen to them going to and from work. But since it only takes me about 5 minutes, one way, to get to or from work, then it would take me forever to get through an audiobook that way. When I get home, I prefer reading the book myself as opposed to listening to a book being read.
I have never bothered with an audiobook but I have listened to a few football-based podcasts whilst out on a walk. I feel like I would just enjoy reading a book the traditional way where it's easier to go backwards and read at your own pace.
Never tried but tbh I think it would be worth a shot. I like reading but I have an awful attention span so it ends up being a pure waste of time. It might be a different story (heh) with audiobooks, maybe I'd be able to focus on them better than actually reading.
I haven't listened to any for a while, but I used to on the bus to and from work all the time. I prefer to actually hold and read a book, but on busy crowded public transport where you often have to stand, audiobooks are a lot easier.
I don’t do well when I hear the words, I need to see them. I rather read than listen. That goes for talking to people as well lol Even English-speaking TV shows, I have the subtitles on because I can follow the storyline better when I read it. Those who don’t care for audio books & prefer reading, are you the same way with talking & TV shows too? Just curious.
