Does the music make the game?

If your game has music, does it make the game better? Or do you not really care about that?
Of course, can you imagine a Zelda game with no music at all? Ocarina of Time without a good track? what you can't perceive through your eyes, you can with your ears! ;D

It can certainly make or break it. When I think of awesome music in video games, I think about the Legend of Zelda, Banjo Kazooie, etc. I've actually come to like a lot of songs that I discovered playing different games over the years.

I definitely think it makes it better.

It can set the tone, enrich the narrative, and elevate a game from good to unforgettable, like the haunting melodies of Silent Hill or the rousing anthems of Final Fantasy.

Same with movies, music can evoke emotions and memories which makes it a great experience.

It's amazing how the soundtrack to Zelda is intertwined with the gameplay. Definitely not just an accompaniment.
