Ever exchanged gift cards with others?

Have you ever exchanged gift cards you didn't want with others (trusted friends/relatives)? I've thought about it a couple of times but then decided to just use them anyway. There are some chain restaurants that I'm not fond of and they're pretty far away anyway, but if I have an appointment out that way, I guess it's nice to have a card and not have to spend cash.

Yeah, there's been times I got a gift card to a restaurant that was way over in another town. So I ended up re-gifting it to a random person I knew.

I've never exchanged them, per se, but I've been given them and then passed them onto people who would make use of them.
