Does anyone watch Futurama here? And if so, did you love it?

I've watched a few episodes here and there but never watched it properly. So I've just started watching from the beginning on Disney+. Currently on episode 4 of the first season

I'm not a huge fan myself but my husband loves it. It reminds me a lot of the Simpsons but I think I like the Simpsons more.
 
I've only started watching this show and haven't even finished season 1 yet I can tell I'm going to love this show. Its creative jokes have made me laugh lots and the characters are great too. My only complaint is that the dialogue is a little bit slow. It feels weird when someone says something and it takes three seconds before someone responds.

Hard to compare the two at the moment since I just started. But I think Futurama ending "quickly" (only 8 seasons) probably helped keep it fresh and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the newer Simpsons episodes aren't great :(

I haven't noticed that...yet anyway. Hopefully, I don't because it's going to annoy me lol
 
Oh goodness I have not tuned into the Simpsons in years. I was under the impression that they stopped making new episodes and they're all reruns at this point. I seem to have been mistaken.

They're at Season 33 at the moment!And apparently they have already confirmed another season so I honestly can't see it ever ending.

Forgot to check last night but I'll try to remember and see if I can notice it as well tonight.
 
I was never too into it tbh. Watched a good few episodes when I'd have sleepovers with my cousin, and it's not necessarily bad, it was just never really for me.

Now THATS nuts, I could have sworn it ended years ago but thinking about it, I deffo didnt hear any such thing.
 
First four seasons are amazing. I actually really liked the movies as well.

For me the last few seasons released after the movies are really inconsistent...a few really great episodes, but otherwise really missing the charm of the first four seasons...

For me the Holiday Spectacular, and oh-Leela-Leela are pretty unwatchable.

Seems like it's one of the shows that they don't want to end because some people still watch it and they're making too much money from it. It really should have finished a very long time ago.
