How often do you get a hair cut?

It's been a couple of years since the last time I got a hair cut. The lady that did my hair last time cut it way shorter than I asked her to and it ticked me off so I haven't been back since.

How often do you get a hair cut?
I have longer hair, I like to get it cut every 3-4 months. I feel like otherwise the split ends take over and it gets unmanageable. I usually get a modest trim, no more than 1-2" off.
When was the last time you got one?
Two weeks ago.

It's been a while since my last haircut, i'd say more than 2 years. But then when i get it short again i'd go once every month, i see how much hair i can grow before this summer.

Agree completely, I'm growing mine but still go for regular trims every 3 months or so.

I'd say it's usually about once a month, or whenever the bits above my ears start being indecisive on which direction they want to go
I think the last time I had one was 2, maybe 3 weeks ago.

I probably get a hair cut once every 3-4 months or so. Sometimes sooner like 2 months but I hate going out to get a haircut and it's something I don't like doing unless my hair is extremely long. I have short hair and always get a beard trim when I go.

I was always told that if you cut it then it grows faster and I've never really thought about it, but that doesn't actually make any sense because it's the roots that grow and you cut the opposite end, so is there any truth in this?

Not often enough, probably once every 6-10 weeks but it always looks overdue.. ?

No - it gives that illusion because the new hair is healthier.

Nope, I tend to see my hair growing slower than faster.

That's a myth. Cutting the ends of your hair doesn't affect the follicles in your scalp, which determine how fast and how much your hair grows.

Once every few months, the moment my hair gets in my eyes I tend to go out and get it cut.

Once a month for me. I like to keep my hair short so I have to have frequent hair cuts because I just hate long hair (on me anyway ;)). Honestly, if I was rich enough, I would happily have a haircut every 2 weeks instead so I could always look good :p

On clockwork, I would get mine at the first of every month, but of late it's been every few months. :(
You're a lot more organised than I am. I tend to get mine every month but it's always either a few days before or after a month. That might be because I do try to time my haircut for certain events though. So if I know a special event is coming up, I'll try to delay it a bit.

Around christmas I'll try and plan my haircut a bit better so my hair doesn't look so messy by then.
