Lab grown meat

I would if there are no other options. Molecularly it's fine right? Same cell structure, nutrients, etc... in many ways it can even be better as those options may be more sustainable/better for the environment etc. It's just a strange concept to eat something that grew from the ground or an animal.

Nope, i want to try living with the least of artificial products, i believe that most of them will produce some kind of cancer in the future..

All the garbage in meat today, lab meat would probably be safer. Can't get mad cow disease if there is no cow.

Our reality is different than yours i think, we're the top meat exporters over here and quality is something that really stands out even over Brazil and Argentina.. so we don't have that poor old meat. Our market is not the big players though, we sell it to Russia lol.

I think I read Beef was the exported meat. Is that correct?

My science teacher told us about this 17 years ago in biology. He and some of his colleagues were experimenting on growing tissue in petri dishes and was talking about cloned meat. If they can grow a nice 8 ounce steak that tastes like beef, I'm game.

Maybe some artificial convincing methods will work? :p

Beef is really hard to procesate for our body though, is not that healthy to eat it daily.

Would you eat lab grown meat? Why or why not?
Sure, if it means no more needless slaughtering of animals (I like animals a whole lot more than humans, just saying). And of course if it's safe and provides the same nourishment.

I have a T-shirt that reads: The More People I meet - The More I like My Dog. lol

I don't like anything lab-grown because it's not natural. While I don't eat a lot of meat (never was into it), meat IS natural. For those who don't like the killing of them, that is true. But think of this. We have more than enough food in the world. A good 60, 70% is pitched. If we didn't waste so much food (that includes meat), if we didn't overeat, we wouldn't need to have lab-made, GMO foods. Unnatural foods are meant to stimulate the taste buds so you eat more & hence buy more. My defense with all this is Why with all our advancements are we sicker than ever?
There are some who don't eat meat yet have no problem eating bread or a candy bar. That contains... dairy. Aka from a cow. It's still CAFO. The animals are still being kept in small cages.
As for liking animals more, I'm there! lol
Not meant for a debate, just something to think about :) People make their own choices with what they feel is best for THEIR life.

If they can get the taste right, then yes, I'm open to it. I like the taste of meat, but I don't like the cruelty that's involved in producing it - so, if that can be eliminated, then that's a big plus to me.

I would be willing to try it. If it tastes and looks the same, I would be very happy to eat lab-grown meat.

I guess the smell would also be an important factor though so it might be hard for them to absolutely perfect it.

Seeing as the worlds human population continues to increase almost exponentially, we need to do something. Chemical or not. Millions are starving. :(

Same here I don't think they would be that good for human consumptions. I would just love to eat those that eat grass only

I would try if it were well tested, have the right taste and is produced by a reputable manufacturer.
