I had an ex girlfriend sleep with my best friend. he and I had known each other since the 3rd grade. I never thought he'd betray me.
How I knew? She was spending way way too much time with him. She got short with me. She didn't want to see me as much. She quit calling me. The sex dried up. I had heard from my friends that they were seen in Wal-Mart holding hands. Another friend of mine saw them making out in his truck. I called her and started yelling. She yelled back. Said it was over. Said she was with my best friend. Afterwards she went around telling people I was a rapist and woman beater. He did the same. He went and dragged my name through the mud. Then years later. He came back and apologized and admitted that those were lies. But what made me not really forgive him is that he down played it all and tried to make it out like I was making it a big deal and that I was supposed to be his friends when we became enemies. He tried using that argument. The problem with his argument is that he didn't want to be friends after. He had everything he wanted. I was useless to him. He obviously didn't like me or respect me enough to be my friend.
Then I had tons of trouble with my ex wife. The first time with her was she had a guy calling the house. He claimed to be her friend. Which was true. They did go to high school. They were in fact from the same town. She wasn't from my home town. She had admitted to me that she had a crush on him for several years when she was in high school with him. But he got with her friend instead. She ended up running off and staying with him for 3 weeks and we'd just got married. 8 years later she came out and confessed that she slept with him. He sister came forward and told me that she had called her crying about it.
The other times. Towards the end of the marriage, she started seeing other men. She lied and said they were friends only to confess after asking for a divorce and telling me the truth only to get me to file one against her.
