Movies only because a movie can't get cancelled after I watch part of it and get really into it. Tv shows are great and I have a few favorites, but I always see things on how they might not get picked up again or there is a change in writers and what not. Movies either are really bad, are ok, or are amazing and either way you can just go grab another movie and watch it to completion.
We watch both. I do agree with series being cancelled & that can get annoying. I try to watch series that are already over with so I know if it ended with explanations or was cancelled & we are left with unanswered questions.
I have a pretty big collection of both Movies and Show's, as I equally like to watch both types. I have my favorites on TV and reruns of TV shows that I love watching, including dvd collections of quite a few shows. I also have more than my fair share of movies that I like to rewatch.
If I had to pick though, I prefer TV Shows over Movies, as there are generally more to watch to continue a specific story in shows, compared to Movies; generally speaking anyways.
I do like tv shows, but I like them to have a clear ending and for that to be actually designed in from the beginning. When things run on for 10 seasons or more, and just get convoluted and lose their direction, I tend to tune out and lose interest.
I love them both as well, to be honest, but for me, if I had to pick, I would probably go for TV shows. They are a lot easier to watch and binge since you can do it in your own time. With movies, when you start one, you have to kind of watch it until the end.
I watch both films and also TV series With good TV series, it keeps you going for weeks, depends on how many seasons and episodes that they make and do
With films, once you watch them for 2 hours and that's it, you then have to look for something else to watch for the next day. I'm always looking for something new to watch and do
