Raspberry Pi Operating System on Mobile

I always had this fascination about the raspberry pi. And I am wondering if there is anyone who tried the raspbian OS is possible to install on mobile.
I hope to use the old mobile which I can use for experimenting with such OS and linux installs.
If not raspbian OS have you tried any other Linux OS on the phone?

As long as a device has the right specs, it can be done with enough tinkering.
