Roundabout or traffic light?

There are more and more vehicles on the roads, so solutions are always being sought to speed it up. Traveling to and from work takes a lot of our time and cars pollute the air.
Two of the most common solutions to secure intersections. These are the traffic light and the roundabout.
Traffic lights are simple but impractical when there is no traffic. Often vehicles stand in the red even though there is no one.
Roundabouts are generally faster than traffic lights although pedestrian crossings nearby can slow down traffic. They also take up more space than traffic lights, which means they are not suitable for narrow city streets.

Which do you think is better, a roundabout or a traffic light?

My hubby hates the roundabouts, which he likes to refer to as the circle of death.

We don't have roundabouts here where I live but I'm sure I would get use to them if we did and I was forced to use them often enough. I can see both sides of the issue but I think the traffic lights are easier to use. Not last week but the week before, I saw two different instances where people flat out ran a red light and almost caused an accident. The person that ran the red light wasn't paying attention to the light and just saw the people in the turning laying moving forward so they thought it was their turn to go as well when it wasn't. If people can't figure out how to use traffic lights, I don't think they'd be able to figure out how to use a roundabout.

Neither are going to stop reckless drivers, but I think a roundabout keeps traffic flowing.

Simple roundabout with one lane is very simple to use. Just watch does anybody com from left side and when you go in, go on right side and choose exist. When you come close to exit, give direction light indicator and go out. Very simple to do.

I just don't like pedestrian crossing on exit.

As a learner right now, I hate roundabouts. I'm not too bad driving onto and out of them but life would be a lot easier for me if they didn't exist lol
