Hey DH Family

Do you remember the Tamagotchi? The little digital pet that you had to feed

I happened to find mine the other day I put a battery in it and Played with it I was addicted again it was fun

unfortunately, the online system to get goodies is gone but another then that it is great

I used to think the Tamagotchi went online and got stuff but it wasn't until I was older

I found out it was a clever algorithm that just gave you a code according to your username on the gadget.

A lot of people had one at my school but my parents didn't get me one. It's funny because if you look back at them now, they don't look as great.

One thing I did get was Cube World. They were these huge block things that you could connect and create a whole world from. I only had one though (a blue one)

I would never have thought of that. That's quite smart actually. It will be interesting to see if it ends up being popular because I'm sure kids will love it.
I'm going to see if I can find one to purchase. Down the line, it might prove to be a collectors item and worth more than what I paid for it.

Always worth a try. Would be even better if it doesn't end up being popular and they cancel it quickly. Your Tamagotchi thing would end up being worth a lot more straight away

Since its a Japanese-exclusive Tamagotchi Smartwatch, the only way to get one is to have it imported from Japan and the cost is way too much for me to even consider :(

Hope this is allowed but this is like a Tamagotchi.
instead it's a Gifypet. Quite fun to play with on different personal sites.
Thought I would share.

I never had a Tamagotchi but I wanted one as a kid. :(
They looked like so much fun. Knowing me I would have gotten so frustrated and tired of the thing that I would not have picked it up again.

A shame. :( The watched looked very sweet.

As long as it's not unrelated self-promotion links, we always love links. That does look quite interesting. Yeah, I didn't get one either even though I really wanted one :(

@Kylie, it's a sort of signature pet thing. It has some embed code as well although not sure if it works in a forum signature.

I actually have a bunch of tamagotchi's, they've become far more immersive as the years have gone by, would definitely recommend getting one of the more up to date full colour ones.

I made a dog one but can't get the embedded code to work :(

I distinctly remember playing with my tamagotchi at the library my grandma worked at while she was working. I flipped the hell out when it evolved and kept trying to show her and all her little old lady coworkers.

Oh wow. You just brought up some fond memories.

Funny story. Mom got me one for Christmas. I was maybe 9 or 10. I ended up not really getting into it. She took it over and got so obsessed with it that we kids were warned that we'd get it if we messed with her pet, LOL.

I tell her about that today and she laughs.

That keychain was a lot easier than the cats that wait up for me in the morning and then moan and herd me to their food bowls LOL
