Whats your favourite anime?

I've only ever watched one anime, so Death Note. I haven't watched an anime since and I don't plan on watching one again but Death Note was actually really good.
 
You may be surprised but, I've never really watched Anime before so I don't have a favourite. Where do I start? How can I begin my adventure into Anime?
 
Sailor Moon. Just something about the Meatball Head.
 
Death Note. I have the manga of it and have seen all the anime and Japanese films. Not seen the American remake though.

What kind of genres interest you? :) Sci-fi, horror, action/adventure, comedy, etc? That would help others give suggestions!

I can't pick one but some of my favourites are: Akira, anything Studio Ghibli, InuYasha, Cardcaptors Sakura, Darker Than Black, Blood+, Castlevania, Dr. Stone, Attack on Titan, and more.

I'm currently watching Avatar: The Last Airbender :)

Those are my top 10 favorite anime shows.
 
My Hero Academia and Sailor Moon are definitely my two favorites. I also enjoy the original Yu-Gi-Oh series, I never finished GX though and never watched the other seasons. Digimon is another one of my favorites with Frontier being my favorite season.
