If you were offered $1,000,000 to be locked in a room by yourself for 20 minutes with a 50/50 chance when you leave the room, you will either be 20 days in the future, or 20 years in the future, would you do it?

Why or why not?

I'm not sure, I'm already getting anxiety just thinking about it.

20 days would probably be okay, but Not 20 years. A lot happens in that length of time, and million wouldn't be worth a million with inflation. A lot of people that you love could be dead, people would have forgotten about you.

The anxiety of 20 minutes alone would probably be to tough to handle but worth a million dollars. Not knowing when the door opened where I would be is why I'm not sure.

Being a 50/50 chance, I won't risk it. 20 years is time you won't get back with your parents, grandparents, your significant other will definitely leave you, and if you have kids then they'll have abandonment issues.

I have family obligations and being almost 35 years old, I can't do it.

I think this would be perfect for someone who has no family and no job. Because then they could do the 20 days in or 20 years in. It wouldn't matter for them. However if they grew up extremely poor or have a drug habit. That 1 million dollars won't last very long.

No chance! I could make £5,000,000 in 20 years with ease! I would ever chance losing time for money. Time is your most valuable asset.

Hard to say really because $1 million wouldn't actually be that much especially for 20 years of your life. This is a lot harder than some other similar questions since whilst it's a decent amount, 20 years of life will probably be worth a lot more than a million

Well, I will be sleeping for 20 years with a time machine that makes your body, not age, and if you have no family then well and good and when 20 years are up you have a new world to learn and by then $1,000,000 be worth even more, that's if 20 years in the future if maybe if it's still cheap.

It's not worth it in my opinion. The money must have lost value in 20 years. It's a risk that I'm not willing to take. I might end up losing my loved one's in that 20 years. No, I will pass.

This is a tough one. If there was more of a chance that I would have to be 20 days in the future after leaving the room then this is definitely something I would consider doing. The thought of leaving the room and being 20 years in the future though makes me anxious and I would hate to take a chance just to end up with that option when I left the room.
