Does your manager breath down your neck every day when you're at work? Are you being Micro Managed?

Nah, my manager trusts in my work, i do write reports and stuff but overall she won't do this, obviously sometimes she receives some opportunities that i need to work on but i don't feel that way at all.. and in my previous job was that way too!.

Oof. My last manager, I spent half the day at his desk for him to "show me" how to do something. I then completed it at my desk in a fraction of the time. he was hard to deal with.

I've only been in my job for about 6-7 months now and it has been great so far. Obviously, since my start, I've been working from home because of Covid so it's been pretty good. My manager makes sure that I get any help that I need and he's there if I have any questions. No problems so far.

My manager(s) in both current jobs are pretty laid back, and offer guidance and support when it is requested.

I've only had one proper falling out with my manager in over 2 years in my main job as an IT Technician at a school, and that was more of a misunderstanding than anything to be fair. It helped that I was able to argue that I did what I felt was right..

Come to think of it, I've only had one job in the past where I've properly clashed with a manager.. We got along fine most of the time, but everything had to be done his way - even stuff outside of work. He was a complete control freak.

The manager I had as a grocery store stocker was tough, but I can't blame him. It's just the way life is. I mean, he has to answer to people himself.

I never see him. My partner and I go to the Ranger Station, get our gear and keys for the vehicle we'll use that day and for the observation tower. End of shift, we send in our report and leave.

Nope, I don't ever work with such people. As a matter of fact I don't think I can survive such boss at work. I will just quit

I am a freelancer right now. So I don't have a boss. When I was working full time, I had worked under a boss with micro-management style. I quit after working there for three months.
