Activity on you forum?

I've never had a really active forum without exchanges or paying people. Ideally, I'd like to have a musician forum with real musicians posting for free, at least I think that's what's going on some of them, LOL..

How is activity on your forum? Is it really active or is it a ghost town?
Its quieted down, sadly. I think the spark for trying to hold adctivity kinda slipped... :(

After my deployment my forum has turned into a ghost town. It's now practically a marketplace for people to buy and sell game development assets which isn't a bad thing for me as I still get profits, but it's bad for the community as it's just dead :(

It happens from time to time. There are dips in our activity over here at DH as well and it's not always easy to keep the activity going. Keep at it and don't give up :)

Thanks, Ash. I feel every community has these kind of stagnant states at least once. I don't plan on abandoning GZ. :)

I don’t have a forum right now but the last one I had I co owned with another guy and we have 26,000 members and a post activity of around 200 posts per day.

I wish you all get good activity in your projects!

Back then, i had a 600k posts forum but died out when web 2.0 (social media) came across. i still remember when i filled with crappy gifs my myspace account and thought it was cool lol.

I run a Christian forum and own a craft forum. The Christian forum has spurts of random activity and then it dies out for a while...and by that I mean that we still have daily posts but no new threads or new sign ups.

My craft forum is still new and I'm struggling to promote it on my own so it's not very active at all.

My community is pretty active! A coding community can be difficult to keep active as we are more of a question-based forum. But lately, we've been gaining tons of activity!

That sounds awesome man! I always love seeing communities that are dedicated to supporting each other and helping each other out.

I have an admin forum that is relatively new. I'm in the process of getting some people to sign up and participate. I have a couple of people that come around and post randomly but I wouldn't say that it's really active.

Do you plan on promoting it in the promotion portal, I’d be very interested.

Honestly it's not that bad considering I don't spend as much time as advertising it as I should, and it's also a Pokemon fan forum of which many already exist.
We can get anywhere from 450-800 posts a month but it's usually at least 500. I'll be making some bigger pushes to advertise once we launch the 2.0 version for our birthday in may so it'd be nice if we could get more activity, but I'm fine with it staying the way it is.
