Have you ever been to a anime convention?
--
I had been to a couple before the pandemic happened and they were quite fun.

They’re were fun to see the fun merch they sell, or meeting voice actors. Gotta deal with the BO from neckbeards and furries, but that’s standard in any convention

Dare I ask how bad it is? Might be going to my first here in a few months.
It’s not like 30 feet away bad, but I’m sure you’ve walked by smelly people at Walmart before and you were only like 5 feet away.

If you wear a mask because Covid, it’d lesson the smell.

I've been to a lot, most of the times cosplaying and i love the experience, other than that is quite boring just trying to look for cheap merchandising. Once that is done i guess you have nothing more to do :p

Friends do make it more fun, but I’m also a person who loves window shopping, so the merch is fun for me.
Yeah, have you ever bought a gunpla from a convention? they usually sell it way cheaper than usual.

I know I will if I see some good (and easy to build) sets to get.
Most of them are easy tbh, they take a lot of time to make one though lol, it's hard to find one that has less than 400 pieces.

When someone walks into my workplace with terrible hygiene, my co-workers light candles and spray Axe body spray into rags and put it over their noses. I know one time it was so bad that they took cans of lysol and sprayed down the waiting room area. The couches stunk for a week.

Most of them are cosplay nerd fan fest, a shame really
Obviously, what do you expect? it's the only way to show your costume off to people that shares your interests.
