It's different from insomnia. Sometimes I sleep like a baby, really great, sometimes I sleep like shit, barely a few hours, then the day after I have to catch up on sleep. That disorder alone makes me eligible for disability. But ever since taking Lyrica, 50mg at bedtime, my mood tranquilizer (I've been able to sleep better with a more regular sleep pattern or schedule). My therapist/psychiatrist says it's because I'm neurotypical and have ADHD too personally. What about you? Do you have a sleep disorder?

I suffer from sleep paralysis. This makes your brain wake up before your body. It gives you the sensation of being awake but completely paralyzed. Often you feel a sense of terror or evil surrounding you during episodes and nobody knows why.

I don't know that I have a specific sleep disorder. There are some times that I can sleep well and there are other times that I can't sleep worth a crap. My doctor has given me a medicine to help me sleep. I'm allowed to take one every night before bed, however, my doctor said it was okay for me to take one only when I feel like I am unable to go to sleep. My doctor said that a lot of her patients do it that way.....they only take one when needed even though they are allowed to take it every night.

I've been taking mine for the last couple of years but like I said....I only take them as needed. I don't have to take one every single night because there are some nights I can sleep okay without one.

I have major obstructive sleep apnea and hypersomulence, which is basically being a state of extreme sleep deprivation all the time. So...yay...fun.

I am grateful that I have never experienced being insomniac, except during my school days. I need to have some coffee or softdrinks to stay awake while reviewing my notebooks and books. Moreover, I sleep like a lard.
