Ask Kyng

If you had to join the military, what branch/group would you join (Army, Navy, Air Force etc.)?
Probably the Air Force... I used to enjoy Combat Flight Simulator back in the day. (Granted, the real-world RAF would be several massive steps up from that - but, if I had to try one of the three, it'd be that one!)

@Empire: Sorry, didn't see your question until now. But I'm afraid I don't have time to give 50 answers... so, I'll represent them all by apple pie :p .

Good choice, probably what I would go for but I would probably be a useless pilot for them. I'm a bit dodgy on MS Flight Sim so a real plane might be even worse lol.

What's the most you've spent at a restaurant?

Not a massive amount... if we're only counting my own food, it's somewhere in the region of £25-30. However, on occasions where I've been eating out with my girlfriend (and paid her bill), it's sometimes come to £40-50 for both of us.

Still, that's nothing compared to our company's Christmas dinner... last time, the bill for all 20 of us came to over £700!!!

As long as they're paying I guess lol. Looking forward to mine as well since this year will be my first Christmas party at my current employer. Covid ruined the last two years so we got a gift card instead.

Are you a huge fan of turkey?

Not a huge fan TBH. And people who take it to the beach are just weird :-/ .

Place you like to visit?
My girlfriend's home town. Although I can't really say where that is without her permission :p .

That's probably what I would go for as well. I would hope I could finish within 5 seconds of the winner at least but it has been a while since I ran in the 100m.

Did you watch Eurovision?

I didn't watch the songs, but I did watch the result.

I was hoping either the UK, Ukraine or Norway would win (my grandmother is Norwegian) - so, I was very happy to see two of those nations in the top two :D !

Same, I completely forgot about it so we missed most of the songs but the voting bit usually is pretty entertaining anyway.

Any holiday plans for the next few months?

None at the moment... I'm sure we'll put something together, but I doubt it'll be abroad :p . We'll probably just stay here in the UK.

Looks like the weather will be pretty good over here (fingers crossed) so I hope you enjoy the stay if you do decide to stay here.

What's your favourite British dish?

Let's hope so!

Scampi and chips - although, nothing I've ever had in a restaurant has been as nice as the home-made stuff.

Took me a while to try scampi but I really like it now. It's the same with calamari as well, didn't think I would like it but I was wrong!

Favourite radio station?

Yeah, calamari is decent, although it never became one of my favourites :p .

TBH I don't really listen to enough radio to have a favourite station.
