Not sure how to describe it but it was surprisingly nice. I would never have tried it but it came with my side order of calamari once. Loved it. Definitely tastes better than it looks lol

I'd never try a beehive hairstyle... it'd look ridiculous on me :p .

Surprisingly, no. That's probably because my interest in Lego peaked in the early 2000s, when I was too old for Thomas the Tank Engine, but my interest in real trains hadn't yet developed.

What do you think of the new Thomas the Tank Engine animation design?

My first train set was actually a Thomas one. Just a circular loop but it was very cool.

I have to admit, I've hardly seen any of it: I grew out of Thomas the Tank Engine at least 25 years ago :p .

From what I've seen, it doesn't look bad... perhaps it doesn't have the charm of the original, but then, I'm not the target audience any more!

Yeah, I think that is what most people say. Just feels a bit weird to see such a different design compared to what we grew up with I guess.

Can't remember if I asked you this before, but have you ever seen the videos of those giant mini/model cities that people can visit?

Yes, and I've visited a few of them myself.

Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg was great... I'll have to go back there some time!
 
That might be the one I saw on YT a while back. Would definitely love to visit at some point.

Yes, I had a few Lego ones (the Manas crabs from BIONICLE, a couple of Spybots, and a random older RC car). They were good fun :) !
