Go ahead. Ask. I dare you. ?

How did you find us?
I found your site via the XenForo forum, in the "forum showcase" section. Your forum was listed as one of the showcase.

I was searching there because I was looking for another forum to have enriching discussions about TV shows and movies. :)

What are some of your all time favorites?

What are some of your all time favorites?
You mean all time favorite movies/TV shows?

Well, it's hard to say in regards to TV shows since I haven't seen that many titles yet, but for movies:

1. Toy Story 2
2. Toy Story 3
3. Casino Royale
4. The Prince of Egypt
5. Spider-Man 2
6. Aliens
7. The Dark Knight
8. Terminator 2
9. Independence Day
10. The Iron Giant

For TV shows, I have quite a lot of favorite anime, but for English language TV shows, there are only a few:

1. Netflix's Daredevil
2. Sherlock
3. Extras (Ricky Gervais comedy)
4. Life's Too Short (another Ricky comedy starring Warwick Davis)
5. The Simpsons (early seasons)

For anime:
1. Madoka Magica
2. Gintama
3. Nichijou
4. Shiki
5. Watamote
6. Excel Saga
7. Paranoia Agent
8. Gunslinger Girl
9. Aku no Hana
10. Don't really have a strong '10' yet

You prefer Toy Story 2 over the first?

You prefer Toy Story 2 over the first?
Yeah, I wasn't really as impressed by the first movie over the second one. It's a clever script, no doubt, portraying toys as having a 9 to 5 job like ordinary people, but it was still essentially just a buddy cop comedy, which isn't even my favorite sub-genre of comedy to begin with.

I prefer the second one because of its more meaningful themes about abandonment and existential crisis. Woody's dilemma between staying immortal in the museum or living a meaningful but brief life as Andy's toy was pretty amazing for an animated film.

What did you like about the third then?

Aside from being the darkest installment yet (which I like in my cartoons), it was the perfect conclusion for what it was, bringing the relationship between Woody and Andy to a satisfying and emotional conclusion that resonates with those of us who are ultimately forced to grow up and put our toys away. It's a very heartwarming ending that tugs on the heartstrings the way older Pixar films effectively do.

Also, Lotso is just a fantastic villain in general, playing the shadow side of Woody, showing what would've happened if Woody didn't have the love of Andy in his life back in Toy Story 1. He would've remained bitter and jaded like Lotso. All around great storytelling.

Did you ever watch Batman: The Animated Series?

I did, once or twice, but it never stuck. I was more of a Spider-Man fan, obviously. lol I grew up on Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
Favorite version of Spider-Man?

Do you celebrate Halloween?
