Batman (voiced by Jensen Ackles) speeds the Batmobile through the streets of Gotham City in hot pursuit of mobster Mickey Chen (Gary Chun) in this all-new clip from Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One.

Comic synopsis:

Taking place during Batman's early days of crime fighting, The Long Halloween tells the story of a mysterious killer named Holiday, who murders people on holidays, one each month. Working with District Attorney Harvey Dent and Captain James Gordon, Batman races against the calendar as he tries to discover who Holiday is before he claims his next victim each month, while attempting to stop the crime war between two of Gotham City's most powerful families, Maroni and Falcone. This novel also acted as a re-introduction to the DC Universe for one of Batman's most elusive foes, Calendar Man, who knows the true identity of the Holiday killer but refuses to share this with Batman. He instead riddles and gives Batman hints from his Arkham Asylum cell. The story also ties into the events that transform Harvey Dent into Batman's enemy, Two-Face.[2] Enemies such as Scarecrow, the Joker, Mad Hatter, Poison Ivy, and the Riddler, among others, also make appearances.

How do you feel about the Jensen doing the voice acting for Batman?

What about the rest of the cast? Do you think it was smart of them to hire new voices instead of going with the classics?

Excited and hoping these movies turn out well, because I really want DC animations to return to Under the Red Hood, TDKR1 and TDKR2 form. Art style really looks good in a nocturnal crime-noir setting (as it deserves given Batman and The Long Halloween comic book) and Jensen Ackles is good as I expected. Loved him as Jason Todd/Red Hood and Troy Baker absolutely has the chops for Joker considering his performance in Arkham Origins.

The red hood style was really good, but they seem to change it up every movie.

It depends on which of the Red Hood origins they're going with. I was really hoping for an excellent noir style live action of the Joker beating Jason Todd to near death and having him come back as the Red Hood.

Would be interesting to see Batman Year One as a live action film as well.
