Do you use cheat codes? If so, do you use them to beat the game more easily or just to mess around? What game has the best or most interesting cheat codes?

I do admit that I do use cheat codes, but in a good way not for cheating myself into the game but open the game up more as to what I want to do as regards building or whatever yo are playing. I do not use a cheat engine to level up or get the money you know. plus most games are simple as edit your saved files and edit a line to get money or levels without using cheat software

I play games for pleasure. If I don't see the value in trying to do something 1000 times just to move on in a game I will read the walkthrough or, if needed, find a cheat code that lets me move on, and then return to normal play. Some challenges I do see the pleasure, even if it's twisted, of doing in naturally but this is a rare achievement for the designs of most games I play.

My brother never has used cheat codes. He says that's cheating. LOL!

I only ever really used them in GTA and things like Tony Hawk when I was a kid. Wouldn't bother with them too much nowadays, except maybe funny ones like making Lara explode in Tomb Raider 2 :p

Having cobra cars in your Age of Empires game was always fun to watch lol

But i always end up winning the old way.

I used to use Game Shark and Game Genie on the older PlayStation consoles like PS2 and PS3.

Presently certain games come with mod support for specific games.

I did it mostly to have fun and enjoy the game in other ways.

Well on XBONE there are way better mods for Fallout 4 and Skyrim.

I did the Missingo glitch in Gen 1 Pokémon for extra items and TM’s. I also did the clone glitch in Gen 2 for the same items. I also wanted all of the Eeveelutions, and it was faster to clone it than throwing one into the daycare and hatching multiple eggs.
