I got the Christmas brownies made! I haven't made these in a decade, they're my husband's mom's recipe. They taste good, but they don't taste like hers. I wonder if she neglected to add something to her recipe, or if different brands of things make a difference?

Oh, and I'm not supposed to eat chocolate, but I took my antihistamine, so I should be okay to sneak a couple.

Unfortunately my cat of 17 years passed away this morning. Struggling with that, but we knew it was coming. Knowing she's at peace and not struggling helps.

Sorry to hear about your cat and having a pet pass away is hard. Yeah knowing that she is at peace, and not suffering does help.
