Good morning! I have to run back to the grocery store because they overcharged me by $10.

Yeah, they weren't surprised at all and the lady in front of me turned around and said she had to go to the service counter every week because they messed up on something. It has been about 4 or 5 months since they goofed, but $10 is a big goof. They refunded my money.

I was happy, of course. But not happy that this happens a lot. I want to explore a grocery store that's closer but smaller to see their prices. Maybe I need to switch?
Definitely never hurts to comparison shop! You might find you like it more and save money!
The older I get, the more I hate driving far to get anywhere. Country living is good for being away from everything, and then it sucks because I'm away from everything. I even put a cooler in my vehicle on hot days when I grocery shop so my groceries don't melt on the way home.
It's one of the few things I truly appreciate about living in Phoenix, everything is super close, but I also hate being around people, lol
Everyone on my street has an acre or more of land and we're surrounded by farms, which is nice. When my husband retires, we'll probably move to a place where houses are closer and I dread that.
That sounds absolutely wonderful right now, and absolutely dreadful in the future, lol. An acre is a nice amount of land to have, here in AZ it's an absolute pipe dream to have even half an acre.

Good morning! Got up early in hopes of a hike, but there is an excessive heat warning and I can't breathe outside. ick.

Yeah, especially since I go hiking where not a lot of people like to go, the trails are hilly. I prefer to not be around people and I get to see all kinds of wild animals, so that's fun for me. But not when it's icky outside because then I worry if I'll pass out and no one will find me until nighttime when the park closes. The rangers will see my car in the parking lot and come searching for me.
Yeah, that's a scary, scary thought in and of itself. None of that!
