Do you think whatever you learn in your college days, would come in handy, when you grow up?
For me, that's not the case at all. I used to love the actual backend programming but now, my work is related to functional stuff as well.
It's like techno-functional work but with more programming.
What about you guys? What's it like in your life?

No way. I learned basic Quantum Physics and theory of relativity but this is not even close what I teach in school. I learn kids basic Physics. On college I learned ASP.NET and Visual Basic progmming languages but in school I learn kids Python and probably it will be Scratch soon.

I took a few coding classes in college, but none are useful for me unless I got a job. Well, I could put my knowledge into some hobby, but my other hobbies simply take up the time needed. Well, the point being, I haven't been that interested in coding as a hobby lately.
