Paid-to-post sites are the sites where you earn from posting articles or posts. I have been a part of Postloop and The Forum Wheel for many years. Postloop has shut down and The Forum Wheel does not offer a lot of posting jobs. Apart from Postloop and The Forum Wheel, I have also been a part of many forums that were open for paid posting. However, these days I am active only on one paid to post site.

I'm not but maybe this is something I should look into.

Nah, I never have. To me, that would take away the fun of forums. I post to interact with friends, make new ones, convey information, etc. If it's just to make money, it would get too tedious for me.

Same here. It's not something I would ever do - because making money isn't one of my goals. I'm just there for the friendships and the discussions.

If the goal is to make money then it makes sense for people to give them a shot.

But as others have said, the community feel just isn't there. I am a member of one paid to post site and I cringe every time I log in because the posts are so inadequate and half the time I don't know what they're saying since their English is very poor. I understand that they're there to make a living but it really brings down the quality of the site and there is rarely back and forth communication.

I have made money from paid to post :) And I myself used websites like PostLoop or FourmWheel :)

PostLoop was good for its time however I sued it more forgetting content on my site as well as making content for others. However, I did not get much for it in the long term. You spent a fair amount of time on the very little amount of money and even if you spent a couple of hours a day, it's still pointless I say. It was a good place to get content and start out though.

If you want to make a good amount of money then create your own services by going to Fiverr or websites like ForumPromotion and setting up your own prices and whatnot :)

I remember I hired a person to post around and she said about ForumPromotion and after a while, she then took over a site called

and there is rarely back and forth communication.
Agreed. There is this supposed girl who is on like 100 forums and creates meaningless one off, one sentence posts. And it's always the same post every day, just worded a bit differently. Then she never replies to anyone trying to have an actual conversation. How irritating.

Agreed! Most of the paid-to-post sites have members from Asia and Africa where English is second or even third language. They are there just to make money, they don't care about adding value to the discussion. I use these sites just for quick bucks.

I really liked PostLoop - I wonder what happened to make it shut down, does anybody know…?
PostLoop and TheForumWheel just died down slowly, unfortunately. I'm guessing because forum owners just didn't use them as much anymore. It's honestly their own fault for not being strict on the quality of the posts of their accepted users.

Yeah some of the posts were junk to be completely honest. I see a niche available to fill though ;)

Honestly, with so many people on sites like FP willing to pay for posts on their forums and even blogs, I can see a newcomer doing well in that niche.

I really miss Post Loop. I used to accumulate points and get posts for my forum projects. I never used it to make money. I miss it now especially because it seems like post exchanges are hard to come by anymore. I feel like I remember a website that was nothing but forum exchanges. I remember it being kind of popular too.

Any chance you remember if it was owned by a staff member on Forum Promotion (the forum exchange site). It's ringing a bell but I can't remember it properly.

I use them because my time is precious and I like to get paid for posting on forums. I need some form of compensation and not get tied to spending it for free like we do with the facebook. So I prefer the paid to post sites for this reason.
