Do you drive?

I do own a car. My hubby and I have very different schedules at work so we wouldn't be able to use just one vehicle among the 2 of us. My hubby and I drive about the same distance from the house to our work though and we don't live very far from where we work, which is good.

I own a 2017 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. I'm hoping to upgrade to a truck again now that I'm out of the city of Detroit.

No. I really never felt comfortable being behind the wheel.

Not yet. I'm actually learning to drive right now and I'm getting closer to being able to finally do a driving test. I first have to pass a driving theory test though which is scheduled for this Wednesday. If I pass that, my instructor is going to book a test date for me ?

wish you the best of luck, the writing part is very hard to pass.

Thank you. Apparently it's quite easy and it's mostly common sense stuff. Plus I usually excel at multiple-choice questions so it shouldn't be too bad

Yeah! I own a Toyota IST 2004. Over 200k kilometers and still going strong, i don't wanna change it because maintenance is quite cheap and affordable and i'm not particulary the traveling by car guy (i like taking long distance buses or planes to enjoy the views)

Yeah, from memory, most of the answers are just variations on "Slow down and get ready to stop" or "Give way to the right" :p . In any case, good luck!

As for me, I drive a 2003 Toyota Yaris, though I haven't driven it for six months now, because I'm working from home (and work was the main thing I drove it for :p )

DVLA app helped a lot because most of the questions that came up were literally the same. Aced the first party of the test and got 50/50! Got 64/75 for the hazard perception one! Just got the practical test left now!

lol it's a pain in the ass. I don't miss the permit test at all. The writing part is so irrelevant. Really all you need is your parents or someone to teach you to drive and explain what you can and can't do. Much like on the job training. I didn't learn diddly squat in driving school, which is a class I took in high school. The teachers in that class didn't teach me anything that I didn't already know from what my mother taught me.

I bet that EU driving tests are far more difficult than here in my country lol

But the driving tests should be easy unless you haven't learned about manual transmission.

Do you own a car? if not then do you use a taxi service or an Uber driver?
Yes, a 2001 Chevy Malibu LS. Only has 132k miles on it! It is however going into the shop tomorrow for much needed work. We have $1000 cash put aside for it.

I got lucky and managed to take my driving test/permit while in high school as an actual class. The teachers let a lot of things slide to get student's their license for the writing part of the class.

I got my license in 1997 at the age of 23. :)

This is still something I need to work on. So I don't currently drive yet. I've taken the written test plenty of times because my permit would expire before I would have enough practice to take the driving test. :V The written test was super easy IMO. Lately I've really been beating myself over not knowing how to drive. :S
