As the title says, can we have that feature? obviously not surpassing the current weight limit.
 
It's something that I can have a look at sorting out. Unfortunately, XenForo doesn't support GIF avatars out of the box which is both annoying and weird.

Wow really? i've seen a few Xenforo based forums with this feature, i didn't think it wasn't fully supported. my bad.

Could you send me a PM with some links if you remember them. I'd be curious to see what they've done. It seems like such an obvious thing to be available but searching for it doesn't provide any "easy" out of the box solutions.

I'll look for them, most of what i've found were in the showcase forum (same sub-forum that i found this amazing community!)

I'd love this.

It used to be a common feature in some other forums I lurked. I haven't seen it implemented in many XenForo forums.

Maybe it could be a shop item? It would get people using the shop more.

Nice. Can't wait to see what GIFs everyone ends up using. Now I need to find a cool one for my avatar
 
I like the idea ;) I do however I do notice (well on my end) that how more high demanding it is to load pages and how slow it is, and on that note my chrome is working extra harder on my simple PC.

Maybe it's because of your lack of RAM, try using other browsers like Opera.
 
I've got 8GB Ram and it's fine on my side, to be honest. Is anyone else having this problem?
 
I tried loading the forum in the desktop mode in my phone and i noted no significant slower times whatsoever. Maybe your gpu is in trouble.
 
Ohh, well maybe try and opening five tabs and let it load up and hear your fans spinning :p

That's what I do.. I have many tabs open here

Stop opening 5 tabs :p. I'll try it a bit later with multiple tabs to see if it's something that happens to me as well. It probably will, to be fair
