Going on a blind date

Have you ever tried this going to meet a date for a first time without knowing the person. What was your experience like?

It works for some people, but others do not. Personally, I have not experienced this. I still believe in knowing someone that I met at some gatherings.

It is never the culture here to go on blind dates. It is mostly match making and rarely when two meet and friendship develops.

I've been on several of those set up by my mother and a friend I used to work with. They never worked out. I've always found success in using social media or going with online apps.
