HD, 4K, 8K - what’s next?

It’s silly 8K is out, but 4K isn’t common.

Guess it shows how quickly the prices for the display technology went down faster than the technology to produce it.

I believe the bulk of my TVs are 4K, but it's really not a feature I get much use out of it. Seldom am I watching anything that is in 4K. It's mainly HD still. I'm not sure what's next. Maybe TVs that have more of a VR experience.

VR would make sense. It is popular now and many are looking into VR as well and if that was possible with TVs, it would be popular.

I still use HDMI at the moment despite having a TV that has the ability for 4K and knowing 8K is available now is crazy to me.
