Hologram could only be seen in science fiction movies. Hologram is 3D based virtual image. But the development of optics could give us many more options in real world calls. Video calls are future. We saw that during biggest corona crisis when Zoom exploded with his video calls. Skype also jump from past and older people start using it again. But soon that will not be enough and people will ask more. Maybe it will be bringing taste trough videcalls but I think hologram videocalls will soon come.

What do you think about holograms?

Here is simple Youtube video where you can make your own DIY hologram.

This would be a massive step in the evolution of technology. Holograms seem interesting but it's something I can only imagine in a classic sci-fi movie. I can visualize 3D meetings however it definitely won't be cheap to buy to start of with.

That's cool @the video.

I know there's holographic concerts. They did one for Michael Jackson.

Hologram phone conversations would be awesome.

I agree. It would have affect in all area of life. Entertainment, communications, presentation.... This would be something like first email and it would be such significant.

Hologram phone conversations would be awesome.

How about this phone call? I think we would need special room for this.

I know that interactive 3D and 4D displays have been actively advertised and have been in the works since the first Iron Man movie.

Would be cool to use a version of it, to have fun with.

I would love to see us developing a technology to make Hologram video calls.
I don't think it's going to be easy and it's going to be a very big step, in technology evolution. I bet it's going to be very expensive though. I am no good with hardware stuff, but to make a hologram that way, I wonder how long it will take us to actually experience that. Because of the lockdown most of us are using video calls and I think that's good enough... But we can't be totally satisfied either. A 3D image can do wonders to communication. That's what I believe

Honestly, do we really need it? I guess it be pretty cool, but I'm fine with just hearing voices.

Yes we need it. Same thing we could say for classic videocalls? Do we need it when we can have audio calls? Or why even audio calls when you send text message?

I don't think it's going to be easy and it's going to be a very big step, in technology evolution.

Currently is hard since we can't get 3D image from one light source. We need more so it requires more equipment or multiple light sources.
