How do you cook corn on the cob?

Normally I'd put the shucked corn into a large pot of water and boil it...letting it simmer for 10 minutes or less once it comes to a boil.

My husband was away on a glamping vacation with his buddy, so I didn't want to boil a lot of corn and chose to do the microwave method. Keep the corn in the husk and wash it off then put it in the microwave for 3 minutes. Cut off the large end and squeeze the corn out. It works. It's a little husky tasting though, but it works.
 
I prefer boiling. But I haven't had corn on the cob in years! lol
 
We eat it year round, but in July is the absolute best time locally for us to get corn. I like the bi-color myself.
Awesome!! Where do you get it from? Is there a Farmer's Market nearby?
 
My sister has a blackstone grill, she likes to sear corn on the grill just a bit, then coat it with butter and salt, very tasty.
 
It is not common in my place to see people want to cook corn on the cob. The cob are always removed even from the farm.
 
We live in the country, so there are stands all over the place :D
Oh nice!! Actually same here. Except it's always watermelons or pork rinds. lol
 
How much do the watermelons go for? At the stands, they're also so expensive here.
I'm not sure. I never bought any. But I got 2 big bags of homemade pork rinds for like $5. WOW!! They were awesome!
 
I could never get into those! My dad used to really like them though, and that's a good price!
I like BBQ pork rinds. The regular ones are too bland. lol
