How long do you keep your graphics for clients?

If you do freelance graphics work for clients, how long do you keep the graphics?

I've kept every single graphic with the exception of some I lost from a bad transfer. A lot of my portraits I've done, the files are on floppy disks and I no longer have a disk reader.

It's been a while since I've opened up PhotoShop or GIMP, but I try to save all of my work. I've got an external SSD that I keep everything stored on.
