What is your most hours spent in one single game and what made you keep playing it?

Natural selection 2, 3500 hours and counting lol. The three main things that keep bringing me back are asymmetric gameplay, high skill ceiling, and a small community where everyone knows everyone.
Most likely Perfect dark, FF 7 or FF 9 from the old days, had to play them a lot as there was nothing else.
When I bought a smartphone first time in 2013, I was playing Candy Crush for 4 hours straight. But later when I found my battery was draining pretty past, I uninstalled. IN 2016 I started playing Minecraft and sometimes I was playing for 5 hours.
I used to love playing this game and I finally got to level 147 but it was so hard that I wound up quitting. Do you remember the highest level you go to?
I've probably spent more time on the Luigi's Mansion games than anything else.

For most hours that I have spent in Flight sim, all the sims together are over 4000 hours. 1800 for FSX and around 1500 in the new sim. ANd the rest like P3d adds up being over 4000 hours
That's a long time to be playing that game.
I imagine that when Hogwarts: Legacy comes out finally that I'll be putting a lot of time into that game.

I've played Fortnite ever since it was released. I took a break for a while, but it used to be an every night game for me. I'd say I've at least spent 1,000 hours on it over the past 3-to 4 years.
Yukon is a card game. I work on it whenever I need a break from writing for Sites that pay.
I’ve played Rocket League more than anything else over the years. When I was traveling for work, I used to play it every single day. I believe I’ve played it for 500+ hours altogether.
This is a long period of time of gaming, but I guess you really had a good time playing the game as it is top quality!
Garry's Mod, hands down for recorded hours. I spent 9,369 hours playing Garry's Mod. Otherwise, Star Wars Jedi Knights 3 would probably win for unrecorded hours since I played it on cd from like 2005-2010 or 11 ish.
