What is a subject you're not open to discussing?

When someone goes to ask on a certain subject that you're uncomfortable on. When do you get defensive?

- Asking how much a certain bill is. It's none of your business what I spend my money on. I had to work to get that paycheck, not you, so it shouldn't matter to anyone else what I spend it on. Plus, paying MY bills is MY responsibility anyway. If you're not paying that bill, why do you need to know how much that bill is to begin with?

Anything that I deem too personal. Two that really "push my buttons" are:

1. "How much money do you make?"
2. "Why are you still single?"

Yeah, Non of your business!

This.

I just hate it when people ask you something that you deem too personal.

Something else is when you're married and people ask you "when are you going to have kids". That's none of your business either. You're not going to be responsible for raising that child once it's born so it's none of your business when a couple decides to have children.

Asking about my cosplay, hobbies or anything like that.

How much money i make is something that is personal but i don't really tell everything since i have more than 3 sources of money and no one will ever know all of them <3

Also, being asked about having kids and stuff like that is something that really bugs me.

I'm open to sharing most things to be fair.. I guess anything that's particularly intimate I'll tend to shy away from answering as it still feels like a bit of a taboo subject to discuss so openly.

I'd probably also give that exact answer if anyone was nosy enough to ask how much money I'd invested in my various web projects over the years. "It's enjoyable for me, and it's none of your business!" ?

I'm quite open as well, an open book if you will. I have no problem answering questions but I always feel a time & place. I don't feel comfortable talking about personal, private matters to someone I literally just met. Ease into discussions first.
