Public transport

I live in a small town. You have to call in a taxi or a bus to take you any where if you don't own a car. They don't just appear at the bus stops like they do at the big cities.

There are city buses that run but I never take them. With gas being the prices that they are I might consider it though. lol

Here in the UK, it's nothing special, but... it's functional, at least.

I'm grateful for its existence, since I don't like driving.

The quality of public transport in London is great. The prices are amazing (at the moment) and the service is top-notch. The only problem is that you can't always rely on buses because you may get delays once in a while. It's not a problem in the areas where you get a bus every 10-15 minutes but in areas where it's one every 30 mins, it's a bit of an issue.

I have a bus going passed in my location once every one hour on the clock till 11 pm. Once in a bigger town, you have buses going anywhere almost every 10mins :)

I can get a bus from Hull or even Whitby or anywhere down from the cost. UK buses are good around the country. The last place that I was living was every 10mins that you can get a bus into town. But I never take the bus anyway. I end up in a car.

Sums it up pretty nicely..

I tend to avoid using it if I can because.. people.. ugh, but it's reasonably good if I have to use it.

It's horrible here. When I used to work in one advertising company, I always get suck in traffic for 5 hours from 6am in the morning and I always get to work very late.
That's horrible all right. Do you live in the UK or the US?
