What reasons would lead you to quit a job? Or would you try to hold on because making as much money as possible is important, especially right now?

There are limited opportunities for professional development or promotion.

Wal-Mart in late 2012. Bad management and not enough work hours to support or feed my family.

I quit Walmart in 2018, right after Christmas actually. I was fed up with management, and I was there for over 5 years and never got recognized for my anniversary. (I know that's not really a big deal, but still everyone else that was there for at least 5 years got acknowledged.) I didn't have a job lined up right away but thankfully my wife and I had some money saved up. I got my current job in early 2019, only about two months after I quit Walmart.

I did that once after my first job, I needed to leave and find something else while also taking a bit of time to enjoy myself.

I am a freelancer. So I won't quit my job. When I was working full time, I usually quit my job because I got a better offer.
