Has anyone made a Reddit page just for your website or blog, where you post feeds and adverts?

Does it help or not, Getting your community name out there more than anything?

No, and I don't think I would bother really. If it's for a forum, a Reddit page is only going to take activity away from your forum which is never a good thing. And it's going to be extremely difficult to use a Reddit page to promote a forum.

Posted almost 20 things so far, and guess what. The Reddit page that I got going is dead still.. LOL

I have no traffic going to Reddit page anyway LOLzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

A Reddit page is going to be even harder to promote than a forum. No one wants to join a small Reddit page especially for popular niches like gaming.

I'd rather use Reddit to promote the forum. Use existing Reddit pages to link to useful articles you got on your forums. That help's a bit. But of course it comes with trolls replying to your posts with some heavy criticism, but hey you get some traffic.

Whenever I read blogs for promoting my website they always say Reddit is amazing for promoting, but in my case I always got my post deleted or removed from subreddit. So for me Reddit is not good way of promoting your website, forum etc

I created a subreddit purely so I could get a backlink there, but I've not actually tried promoting on reddit at all.
I feel like posting in relevant subs would be a better idea but you would have to be a regular of the community for people to not downvote you for advertising.

True, if you are not a regular, people will easily down vote your posts. It's better to build your reputation on Reddit before advertising on sub Reddit. Some Subreddits don't allow advertisements either.

Been using it, does not help one damn bit people. Takes me time and hours and weeks to promote the Reddit page and then for what? to get it taken away from the site. NArrrrrrrrrrrrrr people post rather than hitting the LINK o your website.

Might work for some and others but not for everyone

To be fair, I think even the regulars will get downvoted to hell for any type of advertising or promotion. You even get some people that throw accusations at certain posts when they aren't promotions ?

Exactyly as you said might work for some and others but not for everyone.

To be honest Reddit never really worked out for me. Like I had my share of the spam and the negative trolls chase over there. I try to avoid traffic from reddit as much as possible. Because it is not really the buyer traffic just making name out there would be from possible there.
