Should Celebrities Earn Less?

I really think that sports players should earn less, i can't believe that just for kicking a ball they earn more than a whole country. I know they're good and stuff but the entertainment business should not be more important than education or a health system.
I think they should earn good amount. It's a talent to be a celebrity, not many of us have that.
No, they should not earn less. Celebrities are paid what the market demands. They aren't taking the money at gunpoint. If there wasn't a desire for their services, they wouldn't be getting the money. There is no doubt that most celebrities also work hard for their money. One could argue that others deserve to paid high compensation, too, but that doesn't make celebrities overpaid.
I understand that they have a lot that they have to do but there comes a certain point where it's like why do they need to have millions of dollars every time they make a movie. The more their popularity soars, the more they get to make on a movie, or at least that's the way it seems. There comes a point where I think it's a little ridiculous.
Should they earn less? Probably. Especially when you consider some of the absurd salaries that some footballers get paid. Do I believe in forcing that? Not really. These salaries come from marketing deals and the popularity of these celebrities. If someone wants to pay a footballer £1 million a week, it's their choice to do so.
I wouldn't say less, but some are paid far too much. It's like sports players, some are way over paid.
Sports stars are a different thing, I don't know if I have a strong opinion about them, although I do think that some of them earn a ridiculous amount of money, like boxers and footballers in top leagues, it would be a lot better if the money was split more evenly so that lower tier sports people also got a reasonable amount.
But as for 'celebrities', it is not them who actually cause the problem, but the people who enable them by consuming everything that the media throws at them. Some YouTube stars literally sit there and talk crap and play games and earn millions, or trying on clothes, and we are enabling that by watching it, when instead we could be talking crap with our friends, playing the games ourselves, or going shopping.
The cult of celebrity is weird, and we divorce ourselves from reality by subscribing to it.

They probably shouldn't earn less. To be honest they do extremely well for a reason, because their entertainment is bar none amazing and has a value on it that is the very reason why they are paid that much. There's no reason why they should earn less in my humble opinion.
I don't know if I can agree with that, people who are celebrities because of acting, musical, etc work and talent I agree, but people who are only famous because They appear on reality shows or spread toxic arguments to be controversial, or just sleep around too be famous, I don't think they have much value.
Celebrities, professional athletes, I believe should earn way less. There are actors & athletes out there that aren't in Hollywood or the Pro Sports because they just didn't get that 'big break'. Nobody needs that kind of money all in one place.
I think it is fine for them to earn what is right for them. Even though they earn a lot, they still need to pay their taxes.
